Growing up in Robertson County, I was able to see how little most students know about the ACT and how to apply for college. After scoring a 33 on the ACT, I wanted to help others do what I did: score highly on the ACT and be able to go to AFFORD my dream school.
Over the last ten years, I have been fortunate enough to not only help students achieve their college dreams, but I, myself, have been able to graduate with four degrees. I have graduated from both the University of Pavia, in Lombardy, Italy and University of ESC Clermont in Clermont, France: receiving two Masters’ Degrees in Healthcare Management and Business Analytics. I also have two undergraduate degrees in Management and Political Science from Lipscomb University.
I, now, am able to help all of my students improve because I have been in their position before. I can relate to each student. I was not always a great student. As a freshman in high school, I had a 3.1 GPA. Currently, I tutor students from all levels of ability (both on the ACT and academically), so I can adapt to any student and make material understandable for anyone. I have had my students increase an average of 4 points on the ACT, with some increasing up to 9 composite points, and multiple students being awarded full-tuition scholarships.
The most rewarding moment is when I help a child get the confidence to believe that they can achieve their goals. I believe that anyone can achieve great things when they are willing to work hard and believe in themselves. No child is too unorganized, and anyone is smart enough to improve.
